vienna press release
I am in an exhibit in Vienna Austria this Dec.5-10, 2006 at a festival called Roboexotica, roboexotica.org
I was in the show last year and it is well worth the visit to Vienna. It is frosty cold there this time of year so you get the full effect of the winter holidays! The exhibit is free to the public with many many free cocktails served to you by machines and robots, i kid you not. AND, i will be Bar B-Qing and DJing every night, like last year, so there's free vienna sausages cooked by moi! (like only and ex-Iowan current Califonian can cook!).
I am also hosting a symposium with all of the presenting artists.
There is a GREAT coffee shop and bakery called Demel I WILL take you to to, like nothing and nowhere else on the planet! www.demel.at/en/index_en_flash.htm

Mon, December 4, 2006 - 7:37 PMdemel! ask johannes to tell you the story of udo proksch - he used to own it and shoot guns in there or something, was caught trying to pull insurance fraud on a ship that sank and even went to the philippines to hang out with marcos and have plastic surgery to change his face before going back to austria. but they still arrested him when he went back. monochrom did a musical about the guy :)
